Worforce Development for Teachers and Scientists – The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s Pre-Service Teacher (PST) program offers paid internships to students with a commitment to teach science, mathematics, engineering, and technology. In addition to working with scientists and engineers, the participants have a Master Teacher as a mentor. The Master Teacher works in K-12 education and is familiar with the research environment of a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory.
